Advent - Day 10

Quite a lot of candy was required to make Helen's rainbow Gingerbread House.

On Daisy's, the lack of color is due to the fact that most of them are in her belly!

Advent - Day 9

Day 9 was a trip to Chickfila for their holiday peppermint chocolate chip milkshakes. I forgot to take pictures- oops.

Advent - Day 8

Day 8 found us taking a trip downtown to Macy's to mail the letters to Santa in his special mailbox.

And a brief stop to see the "Snow in the City" setup where a machine blew tiny bubbles that look like snow falling. Oh, what we won't do for snow in southeast Texas!

Advent - Day 7

I saw how to make these cute "trees" online somewhere using Ferrero Rocher candies, pipe cleaners and stars.

Advent - Day 6

Bake a yummy holiday treat.

These chocolate-covered cake balls turned out to be too sweet for even me to eat- that is really saying something. The rest of my family seems to have no such problem...

Advent - Day 5

Today's Advent calendar find was a beaded snowflake ornament craft kit that we never got around to doing. Between church, choir, birthday party, shopping, wrapping...the time never presented itself so here are a couple of pictures I did snap today.
