These chocolate-covered cake balls turned out to be too sweet for even me to eat- that is really saying something. The rest of my family seems to have no such problem...

Today's Advent calendar find was a beaded snowflake ornament craft kit that we never got around to doing. Between church, choir, birthday party, shopping, wrapping...the time never presented itself so here are a couple of pictures I did snap today.

Day Two's note says "Santa and Snow," which translates to the annual Holiday Magic in Rice Village Celebration. We went last year and the girls had a good time. They truck in some snow in one area for the kids to play. Around here, it quickly turns to very slippery ice. There's also a photo op with Santa and some live reindeer to pet. Balloon-making, Christmas music and all-around "getting yourself in the mood for Christmas" to be had.
